Lay teaching at the BSV

Experienced lay practitioners at the BSV have an important role in the teaching program. From time to time some of our meditation classes for beginning meditators are conducted by lay teachers. Courses on the Teachings of the Buddha are also offered by lay teachers. These contributions supplement the teaching programme provided by Buddhist Monastic teachers.

As a condition for teaching at the BSV,  all lay teachers must affirm their commitment to the Triple Gem and be approved by the Management Committee.
