BSV Fundraising Updates
The BSV Hall and Vihara have had extensive repairs and renovations over the last 3 years.
Work on the Vihara included:
- restumping
- repairing cracked plasterwork and painting inside and out
- repair of verandahs and porches
- removal of trees that proposed a risk to the house foundations
- removal of large dead tree branches that posed a risk to the house and visitors
Work on the Meditation Hall included:
- repairing cracks and repainting
- updating the audio/video systems
The following additional work is planned to be undertaken in the coming year
- regeneration of the Vihara back garden to re-plant trees and shrubs that were removed during the repairing of the sewerage pipes
- renovation of the men’s toilet in the Meditation Hall
